Get answers; get control.

Be like Sarah.

Sarah was a high school student who dreamed of a bright future. Every day Sarah would swim in a sea of information about colleges, majors and careers. She constantly received emails and advice from his counselors, colleges, and his parents. Deep down, Sarah wondered if a 2-year college wasn’t the better way for her. She didn’t want to disappoint anyone but she had her own dreams and aspirations. One day, Sarah joined a guided program where SHE determined the right professions for her and developed a plan to get there with a 2-year college and experiential learning. Because of that, Sarah became more confident in who she is and what she wants. Because of that, Sarah is able to go after her dreams without wasting time and money, getting real experience day 1. Until finally, Sarah is in control of her future, happy and excited again.

What's the right next path?

Dear Parents,

As a young student, I struggled with what to be when I grew up. The only plan I had was given to me by others. I kept thinking more education would illuminate the path and provide the answers for me. It didn’t. I then began to see my daughter going down the same road, uncertain of herself and her future, questioning herself and losing confidence. I decided I needed to help her by figuring out a better way. I created What's Next as a career advisor and college planner for kids. Not to create a hard and fast “plan” for them but to provide them with confidence, self-assurance and peace of mind, knowing what their strengths are, understanding who they are at their core, and developing a sense of what they care about improving in the world. The world is changing fast. Having a college degree isn't a guarantee of success and isn't even necessary for success. Kids are smart enough to know this and they're very anxious because of it. I promise that if your kid follows the program, they will be knowledgeable about who they are and what makes them tick. They will decide on what path makes the most sense for them and they will have the tools to support that next step.
